Remember when we were at Mark Twain, at the dance, and a few of us had an interesting mix of our parents alcohol and while in the bathroon Ms. Soefer came in and sort of caught us and the result were the nicknames: Pint, Slurp, Breaker???

Hey Jean. I remember one dance at Mark Twain and it’s funny because the ONLY thing I remember about it is Brad Rothermel’s dad coming to get him because he was caught with alcohol…..the fear in his face!!! Funny how those kind of things stick in your mind!

How cool, when you think about it now, was that we had a real band that played for us at the dances. As I recall, one of the guys in the band was the son of one of the reading teachers.

Mike, Sorry you won’t be able to make it across country for the 25th. Even though some of us who have done the planning may use the saying “never again” we can’t help but remind ourselves of another saying, “never say never”. And for all of those that can’t make it because they moved far away from the Edison area, as we reminisce, you all will be there in our memories:)
